We promised!! Here’s part 2 of Britt and Chanelle’s dad on the podcast! This episode talks about one of our favorite topics: splitting the check. Anyway, this week, the group chat is talking about dating app safety. It’s not weird to verify a person is who they say they are before you meet them, and we’ll tell you how! We also talk about what to do if you’re on a date and you start to feel unsafe — have you ever heard of an Angel shot? It’s your ticket out of an uncomfortable situation and it’s something all bars need to have ASAP! What do you do when you find out the person you’re seeing (exclusive or not) was seen on a dating app? The approach when asking them about it is key. All this plus some hard Valentine’s Day truths, a catfish update, and whatever else we went off on a tangent about!

AHHHH WHAT’S THAT??? Omg it’s a GHOST! This week, the group chat is discussing ghosting, being ghosted, and everything in between. We start off with some scary ghost stories — we explain why we’ve ghosted people in the past (including Chanelle’s REALLY good reason for doing it), and Lauren’s realization that she has in fact ghosted someone before, also with good reason. If that’s not enough, Britt shares the harrowing tale of the dude who TRIPLE (well 2.5x) ghosted!! We also get into what pics to put in your dating app profile, and which to avoid. FYI, we all scoff at fish pics, but they’re more accepted than you think!

This week, we’re discussing shitty dating app dates. We get to hear about how Chanelle got tricked into paying for TWO dates with the same guy, and we also talk about awkward end of date kisses (gag). Spoiler alert: if the vibe’s not there, don’t fkn do it! Not sure how to go about messaging a match for the first time? Do pickup lines work or should you just send a simple “hey!”?
