  • 18. Emotional Cheating is Still Cheating
This week, we start off with some more insight on what's going on on dating apps these days. People are very open about two things: hard drug use and polyamory. For the drugs - why would someone who openly does hard drugs match with someone who has it in their profile that they never do that? Our discussion about polyamory is short, being that we don't know much about it ourselves, but we think whatever people want to do in their own lives is fine. We want to have a guest on who can give us more insight on this lifestyle, so stay tuned for that in the future! Somehow, between all that, we get into reminiscing about how much we hate skiing, and a trip to Atlantic City for Chanelle's 21st birthday in 2013 (see @nvmhetextedme on instagram for the photos that were mentioned in this discussion). Lastly, we get into a listener question about cheating. Can a relationship be salvaged after one or both parties cheat? We get into all the reasons and situations where it can be fixed vs where it can't, as well as the number one thing that is needed in order to heal.

  • 17. If You Sell Your Panties and Ball Kickings, We Can All Get Botox!
Welcome to the first episode of 2022! Let's start off by explaining the title.... basically, Lauren is newly single & she's back on her shit, therefore she's heavily considering selling those items for money (in the most non sexual way possible, of course). This all came up because we found out we had been used by a listener for their own embarrassment fetish and sexual gratification. Nice! We'll explain, just listen and crack up with us. Anyway, this week, we go through Lauren's first week back on dating apps and she tells us what's new since the last time she was on it. We also get into profile bios and get wild with a little segment we like to call "Profile Poetry." Have you ever seen a dating app bio that just made you roll your eyes? We took those and made them into poems for your enjoyment. Again, don't ask questions, just listen. We then get into a listener question about texting: is texting chemistry a thing? Should you base your outlook on how the rest of the relationship will go based on the first few weeks of texts? What are some red flags to look for when texting with a new person? We also got a guy's perspective on this, so you don't wanna miss it!

  • 16. Sorry, I Don't See This Going Any Further: Dates & Texts From Hell
A listener wrote in and told us about a weird date experience she had and asked us to share ours. The conclusion we have come to is that Chanelle has been on enough weird dates to cover herself, Lauren, and Britt, for literally the rest of our lives. Listen as she dives into each one in this episode and get ready to meet Bank Account Hacked Man, Broken Car Guy, and Dr. Split the Bill! We also talk about what happened to one girl when a guy accidentally sent her a text he meant to send to his friend, and used some not-so-nice language (spoiler alert: he referred to her as a "c word" and never recovered).

  • 12. Catfishing the Catfish ft. Chad Huber (Part 1)
Tiktoker Chad Huber joins us this week to talk about his account, which is dedicated to scamming scammers! Have you ever thought about how it would go if you just went along with a scammer to see what happens? Chad does it so you don't have to! In this 2 part episode, we go into detail about online scammers and how they roll. Do you find it difficult to tell whether a profile is fake? In this episode, we discuss how to spot a scammer and fake profiles. From their wording, to their preferred method of contact, even to how their profiles are set up, there are ways to tell! We also talk about pranking scammers (Chad likes sending them potatoes with his face on it, but that's just one example). You won't want to miss these two episodes, so get listening now!!

  • 11. Beware of the Maskfish

This week's episode covers everything from the porn vs OnlyFans issue (where does the line get drawn?), to your significant other checking out other people, and of course, to catching catfish. Is it weird if a straight girl points out another girl she thinks is pretty to her significant other? Does this then give free range for the significant other to do it as well? We discuss our feelings on when/if this is okay. We've also got a PSA for everyone: BEWARE of the Maskfish! Chanelle will explain more, don't worry! We also dive into step by step instructions on how to reverse search an image. This is one of the first things you should be doing if you think you're being catfished, so listen up! We end with some questions/stories from our listeners and touch on ruining the mood, projecting, and when to ask the age old question: "What are we?"

  • 10. Situationships, Imaginationships, and Tolerationships
We are BACK! And what better way to come back than with an episode full of hard truths you might not want to hear?? Today the Group Chat is discussing situationships, imaginationships, and tolerationships. Don’t know what any of that means? Don’t worry, we explain what each one entails, how to know if you’re in one, and how to get out. Warning: if you feel called out while listening to this episode, it’s because it applies to you. Do with that info what you will. Also, we discuss some listener submissions and remind you that NO ONE else has a say in what you do with your body. We’ll tell you what to say when someone tells you they want you on birth control so they don’t have to use condoms, why a needy/pouty boy could be a narcissist, and why you shouldn’t be putting in effort if you’re getting nothing in return. In case you didn’t know, you should never have to beg for someone’s attention. If they wanted to, they would. This episode’s a dooooozy!

We’re answering more listener questions this week! What do you do when a guy goes from harmless compliments to fucking creepy hours before you’re supposed to meet? Refer to the title of this episode. We’re also talking about what to do if you stumble across someone you know’s significant other on a dating app. Should you send the receipts or stay out of it? Plus, another dating app safety tip that has to do with your job...if you don’t mind your co-workers knowing how many Tinder matches you go through. Listen to find out!

About Nevermind, He Texted Me

From the publisher's feed

There are a ton of podcasts about dating and relationships but We realized there wasn’t really a podcast focused on the type of advice you get from your group chat, like what to say on dating apps, dealing with sketchy matches, and everything that comes with it. Britt, Chanelle, and Lauren are three best friends in their late 20s who grew up together.
