Nevermorphed: An Animorphs First Read

NO TURNING BACK, NO BACKING DOWN! The first episode of Nevermorphed is here, and probably unsurprisingly, we talked about the series and Book 1: The Invasion for so long, I absolutely must split this into two episodes.

My guest this episode (and next episode!) is Leigh Pfeffer of History is Gay. Highly recommend these episodes:

• "31. The Gaymother of Rock n' Roll, O.G. Electric Lady Sister Rosetta Tharpe"
• "39. The Amazons: Stoner Horse Girl Warriors of Antiquity"

Nevermorphed is hosted, edited, and produced by Wil Williams. Our theme music is “The Chase” by Joey Hendrixx. Our title is by Eddie Feeley, and this podcast would not exist without Mike Schubert’s podcasts, Potterless and The Newest Olympian. You can find his work at https://schub.es.

I HAVE FINISHED THE FIRST BOOK! DID YOU KNOW THEY CALL THEMSELVES ANIMORPHS FOR REAL?!

In this pilot episode, Wil explains everything they know about Animorphs. It's not a lot! Would they survive a yeerk attack? Probably not even a little!

In 2024, Wil Williams embarks on a New Year's Resolution: get really into Animorphs for the first time. Join them as they read the 54-book series they've been wanting to read since they were a kid, joined by guests who have been fans the whole time.
