There is a place that God calls every believer to. A place of deliverance, protection, safety and care. Are you familiar with this place? Christ wants you to know of it.

After a long day, Jesus tells Peter to launch out into the deep with Him. Are you tired, weary, overwhelmed with the issues of life? Like with Peter, Jesus is calling you to go deeper with Him. It is only then you will gain a revelation of the God who is the answer to all of the issues you face.

Jesus, God in the flesh, came to a world where there was no room for him at the inn. The inn was full, and no one was willing to go or throw anything out to make space for Him. Is there room for Jesus in your heart today? Are you willing to throw out some baggage to make room for Him? Will you make room for Jesus?

Christ the King took the form of bondservant, made Himself of no reputation to come to us in Bethlehem, in a manger. Majesty in a Manger. Two thousand years later He is still as accessible to us, still identifies with us and still feeds our souls. Just as He did in that manger.

In the place of our affliction (trouble) is where God causes us to forget and be fruitful.

The prophet Zechariah sees a vision of the high priest being accused by Satan. It has relevance to the believer in Christ today. While we forgive others, we may find it difficult to forgive ourselves for grievous acts, often going back decades. We are accused by the enemy in our minds. Let us recall the words of the Lord spoken to the enemy in Zechariah's vision - we are burning sticks plucked from the fires of sin. We have been forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Christ, free from the assault of the enemy of our souls.

Jesus tells the story of the unforgiving servant who was forgiven much but demanded payment from one who owed him. His master turned him over to the tormentors. Believers in Christ have been forgiven much, obligating us to extend that mercy. Otherwise, we invite the tormentors of bitterness, anger, resentment, and physical ailments as we withhold forgiveness.

After he took the throne of Israel, King David came to the house of Saul looking for anyone who was left that so he can show mercy. This was because of a covenant made with Jonathan. Today the King of Glory, Jesus Christ comes to us because of a greater covenant, the New Covenant asking the same question - is there anyone to whom I can show mercy and kindness?

Jesus tells the story of a merchant seeking fine pearls. Today this merchant, Jesus, is still seeking that which is valuable, the souls of men and women. Click on the play button below to listen.

The religious said they "believed" Jesus' claims, yet he called them children of the devil. What was it about their belief that Jesus didn't accept? God expects a belief far greater than just mental acknowledgment. He expects a belief that is followed by action, an abiding in Him, a commitment of one's life to Him.
