The strength of any relationship or marriage lies in the 3rd strand.  It’s what makes an “Unbreakable marriage.”  Each week, we are going to look at “3rd strands” that make unbreakable marriages. 

The next strand is Submission: Love and Respect.

We begin a marriage series today called “Unbreakable.” Now, if you are single or divorced, this series still relates to you because you just might marry or marry again.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 states, “And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him.  A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”

And our first strand is ATTITUDE.

The church can no longer function as an audience who listens to one. THE CHURCH must function as a gathering of like-minded individuals who want to restore hope to the broken and misunderstood through Jesus Christ. 

Today, AVE CHURCH Planter, Dylan Del Campo, shares the vision for AVE CHURCH and the body of believers.

What is the purpose of the church? 

ANSWER: To Build the church (People) and to Battle the gates of hell. 

This is exactly what we attempt to do here at NBCC. 

Over the next two weeks, we want to talk about the ways we do it and some of the ways we will incorporate in 2020.  We want to “REFRESH AND REDIRECT” today so we can BUILD and BATTLE.

When we began to follow Jesus Christ, we didn’t walk into a playground, we marched into a battlefield: a bloody, harsh, dangerous battlefield. Some have walked away from Christ because it got too tough, they thought it was going to be some easy journey.

Today, we take a look at the weapons we have to fight with.

We are Warriors.

We’ve all seen grown-up adults acting like children. We can all agree with the quote: “Age doesn’t define maturity, actions do.” 

Today in our Identity Series, Paul is going to talk about a key continuous step in our faith: We need to grow up and mature in our faith.

Pastor Charlie shares with us today how the enemy works extra to cause instability in our faith, relationships and families.

We’ll also see how we can take some steps to live a life where we can make that statement: “I am Stable.”

We live in times where there is so much division and God places the church right smack dab in the middle of all the division.

Jesus said in the last days Kingdom would rise against Kingdom meaning one nation against another and that Nation would rise against nation meaning countries would be divided against itself.

In the middle of all this division, God raises up the church: Followers of Jesus Christ who become a new family.

Have you ever noticed in a museum, at the bottom of a work of art, the Artist has written his name on it? God has written His Name upon you, His Masterpiece.

Today, Pastor Jim shares on what makes us God’s Masterpiece.

As a follower of Christ, Jesus has SAVED us by His death, burial and Resurrection. But Jesus would also tell us: Now that you are saved, “Don’t waste your life.”  We are all called to do something of impact for the Kingdom of God.
