God's voice frequency is most often found when we are broken. A broken heart is an open heart, and an Open Heart is a Receptive Heart. 


Today our Special Guest, David Geith, shares how we can remain broken so that we can tune our "ears" to God’s voice.

There are some voices we wish we didn't hear. It could be the influences in our life or the things we hear on the news or what we read and see on social media.  


There are voices out there we might be influenced by and moved by but at the end of the day there is only one voice we should be listening to and that's Jesus.

“I scan the environment for potential catastrophes.” 

 

TRANSLATION: I’m looking for something to go wrong. 

The term is called: Catastrophizing 

 

CATASTROPHIZING: is taking a current situation and giving it a negative spin. We believe something is far worse than it really is. 

The truth is this kind of thinking affects all of our US’s including God.  We have defined US as “friendships, teammates, co-workers, romantic, family, sibling, marriage and God relationships.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23 

 

Because everyone has sinned everyone comes up short in their attempt to reach God, to get to heaven…that is why God came down to us as Jesus Christ: We fall short. 

 

We take a look at a subject that we all struggle with to certain degrees because we are all sinners. Some cannot admit it, but they feel it or know it. It affects the well-known and the rest of us relatively unknown in society. The world’s highest and lowest achievers suffer from it.
