Solitude isn’t just about being alone—it’s an invitation to meet with God without distractions. Before calling us into solitude, God affirms our identity and purpose, reminding us that we are loved and that our lives have meaning. But Healso calls us into something more profound: a relationship with Him.
Yet, just like the people who stood back in fear when they saw God’s holiness, we, too, can hesitate. Solitude exposes our insecurities and fears. Reading the Bible and praying at a distance is one thing, but solitude invites us into a raw, vulnerable space where we truly listen for God’s voice.
What if, instead of stepping back, we leaned in? What if we embraced solitude to experience the fullness of our belonging to God?
Let’s explore this together.
