First SSJ and Jeff talk about Michigan’s interim head Coach and his comments after their win at Nebraska. SSJ then gets Jeff’s thoughts on the Lions after their win in Baltimore last night, as well as his thoughts on teams around the league. Also SSJ and Jeff discuss the theatrics we saw on the sideline between Andy Reid and Travis Kelce, and the repeated frustration we have seen from Travis. In the second hour of New Day with SSJ is hjoined by former Chief Marc Boerigter is in studio discussing what we saw from the Chiefs on Sunday night, and what we saw from their upcoming opponent the Baltimore Ravens who lost to the Detroit Lions on MNF. SSJ, Jake, and Marcf talk some about the woeful running back situation the chiefs are in  and lay out some ideas for how to improve the production from the running backs. Then SSJ and Marc have a conversation about the problem with Jawan Taylor. Lastly SSJ asks Marc what his thoughts are on the upcoming game against the ravens.

In the third hour of New Day SSJ is joined in studio by former MLB pitcher and Liberty native Scott Carroll, so the guys talk a little Baseball as the regular season is coming to a close. Scott was also a college quarterback at Purdue and Missouri State.  SSJ and Scott get into what we saw from the Chiefs last night, they discuss what was good and then some of the negatives as the Chiefs picked up their first win of the season. And a look around the NFL after a crazy day of games yesterday. SSJ, Scott, and Jake also talk a bit about what we saw out of Mizzou Saturday, as well as the Jayhawks, and some other college games from the weekend.

The guys wrap up the last hour of the week on a Friday with Chiefs Hall of Fame Center Tim Grunhard.  SSJ and Tim start by discussing the Chiefs loss to the Eagles and dropping to 0-2 and what they need to do bounce back and what he has seen in the early season that can be improved.   Next the guys preview the Sunday Night Football Match up as the Chiefs travel to New York to take on the Giants.
