Being a part of the FORGIVEN is the essence of the Christian message. Jesus walked around not only healing people, but forgiving them of their sins. And we praise God for this. We revel in this. It can be somewhat simple for modern day people to accept forgiveness from God. In our day, we struggle more with the idea that we are accountable to God and therefore need his forgiveness. As such, we tend to take God's forgiveness for granted.

God’s primacy flies in the face of a society that says that we can make our lives what we want, how we want, whenever we want as long as it doesn’t hurt anybody. But the honest truth is that within ourselves we find limits. Within ourselves, we find sin. And ultimately, within ourselves we find the end of ourselves. In our lives, God must be first in order, rank and importance for us to truly flourish.

Jesus is our lead climber who has established a route of fixed anchors that are securely fastened into the rock of reality. It takes some amount of effort to overcome the gravity of this world, but Jesus has marked a way. His route is the way and He is the destination. That way is called the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven.
