We are in the midst of a storm - a global corona pandemic. Uncertainty is everywhere, fear dominates but we will focus on the goodness of God and His ability to bring us through the storm. Ever get into a discussion with someone about a specific topic, and you know you're right. You know you're right but in your enthusiasm to make the other person understand, you're not being very sensitive to your relationship with that person? We have that ability to hurt others with our speech and our actions and we need to be mindful of our impact upon others. This exists in the church today and existed in the church at Corinth almost 2000 years ago. Today Pastor Darren looks at the effects of our diets and eating habits on others.

Culture seems to impact everything around us. And this was the case in Corinth, and this was the case in the newly planted church. This deeply distressed the church founder Paul who provided correction through his letter to them. But what attitudes and behaviors were they trapped in? And how do we apply this situation in our own lives and the life of our church? A direct application as we gather to celebrate Communion around the Lord's Table.

During times of stress and difficulty, where does your encouragement come from? For the Apostle Paul during his time at Corinth, the Lord provided encouragement in the form of encouraging People, encouraging News and encouraging Presence. Today Pastor Darren presents Part 6 in his series, Growing Strength for the Journey and examines Paul's time in the city of Corinth.

As Paul and his missionary team heads to Berea, the author Luke makes note that the Berean Jews were of more noble character than the Jews in Thessalonica. But what made them of more noble character? Is this something that we need to apply to our own lives? I'm pretty comfortable at church, do I really need new teaching? Another powerful message from Pastor Darren.

Navigating life can be tough. There's difficulties, and issues and times of hardship. But navigating life while we navigate pain is a far more difficult thing to do.
