God calls us into deep intimacy so that we can know what we cannot know otherwise. What we do with our pain determines the extent of our intimacy as a couple.

We are responsible for our own sexual fulfillment. We have to recognize the passion within us and share that with our partner. No one member of a relationship should be entirely responsible for the passion of the relationship. Openness and understanding are the key fire-starters to passionate relationships.

Intimacy is complicated and simple. We all have different, yet similar needs that we sometimes don’t recognize. One of those needs is a deep need to have a relationship with God.
