Nerdist exclusively announced a new Monster High comic series titled Monster High: Worlds Collide, set to launch in August 2024. Published by IDW Publishing in partnership with Mattel, the series focuses on the current Generation 3 versions of the characters.

The creative team includes writer Abby Howard (Scarlet Hollow, The Last Halloween) and artist Cátia Sousa (who previously worked on Monster High: Ghoulfriends Forever), with Valentina Pinto on colors and Paula Visconti on letters.

The core premise involves a spooky portal opening at Monster High, bringing alternate dimension versions of the main ghouls (Frankie Stein, Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Cleo De Nile, Lagoona Blue, and Ghoulia Yelps) into their world. The story will see the main characters teaming up with their counterparts, exploring "what if" scenarios and themes of identity and friendship with a blend of fun, spookiness, humor, and heart.
