As we begin our journey through the book of James we will look at a book introduction today and will talk about how trials produce patience, and our need to ask God for wisdom in faith, without doubting, knowing that God will give us this wisdom bountifully and without reproach-

As we move through Deuteronomy we will be looking at the importance of Israel being set apart, the rules set out for kings in Israel and we will spend some time talking about Moses' prophecy concerning Jesus Christ.

In the last message of the Christian Atheist series we look at how we may believe in God but we don't fully trust Him with every aspect of our lives. What do you need to let go of and trust God with all you are-

Continuing in Deuteronomy we are going to look at worshiping God His Way, in Spirit and Truth, the importance of avoiding idols, rejoicing in the Lord, living our lives differently from the world, and a review of some of the laws and festivals.

As we take on week 3 of our Christian Atheist series we are looking at those who want to believe in God, they want the benefits of salvation in Christ but don't want to follow Him wholeheartedly, without any sacrifice. Those who are satisfied with being lukewarm, apathetic, and Jesus will have none of it.

Blessing and Curse, the choice is ours. In this message we see Moses warning the people to not believe they had earned the land to not forget God and to keep the law and be obedient to all that God says. We look at a review of some of Israel's disobedience and the importance of taking heed so we don't fall into sin.

A Christian Atheist is a person who believes in God but lives like they don't. This week we talk about the person who believes in God but does not fear Him. The person who has a form of godliness but denies it's power and practices some form of customized Christianity.

In a special mid-week message we are talking about being free from bitterness. The Lord laid this message on the heart of our pastor to share with the congregation as He wants to bring healing and forgiveness from bitterness to our lives.

In our opening series of 2022 we are using Life.Church's series Christian Atheist to talk about not just believing in God but living our lives accordingly. We begin by talking about the importance of knowing Him and knowing Him well.

In chapters 7-8 of Deuteronomy Moses is speaking to Israel to obey God's commands, to utterly destroy the nations in the land, and he warns them not to forget God when things are going well. We also talk about how our real life is the spiritual life, how we are chosen in God's love, and the blessings of obedience.
