Habakkuk 2:2 “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
We exist to: “Help People Know God”

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint.
cast off restraint = do their own thing.
Helping People Know God means we help people step into a real relationship with God.

Jesus didn’t die on the cross so He could be your religion, He died so He could have a relationship with you.
Jesus is not a dead historical figure from the past to be studied, He is a living, loving Savior who wants to be encountered!
Philippians 3:8-10 Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ 9 and become one with Him.
10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead.
The by-product of knowing God is experiencing God.
Voice = Phone - tone, sound or spoken word.
God wants you to know and recognize, His tone, His sound, His spoken word.
Reaching the Lost
Luke 15:3-6 Jesus told them this story: 4 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?
5 And when he has found it he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. 6 When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!
John 10:11-16 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
Would a good shepherd, who is willing to lay down his life for His sheep, abandon them and leave them in danger?
John 10:12 a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.
wilderness = an area fit for pasture.
The heart of God is He loves us all.
A church without the broken is a broken church.

Genesis 3:14-15 (NIV) 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

enmity = hostility, anger, resentment, violence.

The Devil Hates Women

Genesis 3:16 Then he said to the woman, “I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you.”

“It is foolishness to teach the Torah to your daughter”

“They are swathed like a mourner, isolated from people and shut up in prison” - Talmud

01 Jesus Loves Women

Matthew 14:21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

02 The Cross Broke The Curse

03 Women Are Called

Matthew 28:5-8 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

It is women who were trusted by God to be the first to share the good news of the gospel!

Jesus protected women. Empowered women. Honored women publicly. Released the voice of women. Confided in women. Was funded by women. Celebrated women by name. Learned from women. Respected women. And spoke of women as examples to follow.

Genesis 1:26 (NKJV) Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;

Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Psalm 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord,

Psalm 89:19 I have bestowed strength on a warrior; I have raised up a young man from among the people.

The same word that's used for a wife or a woman is also the same word used for the strength of a warrior and the help of God.

Matthew 37-40 (MSG) Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”
Health is defined as a condition in which someone or something is thriving or doing well.
Healthy relationships begin and end with you.
Colossians 3:12 (ESV) Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience
We cant just sing about being chosen we must LIVE like we are chosen.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Colossians 3:12 (ESV) PUT ON then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience
1. Put On Compassion
Luke 10:33 A Samaritan traveling the road came on him. When he saw the man’s condition, his heart went out to him. He gave him first aid, disinfecting and bandaging his wounds. Then he lifted him onto his donkey, led him to an inn, and made him comfortable. In the morning he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, “Take good care of him. If it costs any more, put it on my bill—I’ll pay you on my way back.”
People in healthy relationships have daily bowels (of compassion) movements!
2. Put On Kindness
Kindness - Wine which has grown mellow with age and lost it’s harshness.
Kindness - Being adaptable to others.
3. Put On Humility
“Blessed be his name, he stoops, and stoops, and stoops, and, when he reaches our level, and becomes man, he still stoops, and stoops, and stoops lower and deeper yet.”
We know we are a humble servant when we have a positive reaction toward people when they treat us like one.
4. Put On Meekness
Meek Does Not Equal Weak
A meek person is a controlled person.
A meek person’s response is a gentle and mild response that acts as a soothing medicine for an angry or upset soul.
Mark 26:50 Jesus said, “My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for.”
5. Put On Patience
Stretch Down - in submission and honor.
Stretch Up - in praise and adoration.
Stretch Out - to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around you.

God Loves The Lost
We Are God’s Plan A
2 Corinthians 5:20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
The only Jesus many people are going to see is the Jesus in us.
1 Peter 3:15 Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
1. Connect With People
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

3. Invite Them To A Place Where They Can Experience God.
“There will be no manifestation of the presence of Christ without acute desire. God waits to be wanted. Sadly, He often must wait so very long.” A.W. Tozer
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
God shows up where He is invited.
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 1-2 You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s master stroke, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who He is; then Jesus and what He did—Jesus crucified. 3-5 I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequate—I was scared to death, if you want the truth of it—and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it, which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God’s power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else.
