New Star Trek Movie Confirmed

Paramount Pictures reconfirmed its commitment to the Star Trek franchise at CinemaCon by officially announcing a new film is in the works. Directed and written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), the upcoming movie will serve as a fresh start, totally unconnected from previous cinematic iterations. Judging by the creative team, the new film is expected to take the sci-fi universe on a slightly more comedic, less serious journey.
