2023 WEEK 44 [HEBREWS 1-6]
“Jesus Christ, the Author of Eternal Salvation”
October 30 – November 5
WEEK 44: SUMMARY
The epistle to the Hebrews was written to try to help the Jewish converts. They were struggling to balance their understandings of the Law of Moses with the new covenant through Jesus Christ. These chapters incorporate familiar Old Testament verses to help us understand the role of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer.
On the creative side, we'll make smoke rise from our fingertips and teach about putting our faith into action. Next, we'll understand types and shadows in the Old Testament with a clever twist on a word search. Finally, we'll learn about the value of learning line upon line by comparing broth to the rich, meaty goodness of my favorite chicken noodle soup recipe.
