This week’s message, “The Power of the Blood”, unpacks why the blood of Jesus still matters today. The old sacrificial system was only a shadow—a slow, limited connection between humanity and God. But when Jesus appeared, He put away sin once and for all by the sacrifice of Himself. Every sacrifice before Him pointed to that moment on the cross. After generations of spilled blood that could only cover sin, one drop from the Lamb of God was enough to cancel it forever. When we say yes to Jesus, sin loses its place in us—it’s been canceled by His blood. The new covenant gives us direct access to God, instant relationship, and lasting freedom.

Who is Melchizedek? In this message, Pastor Jarod asks, Are you living the high life? Not a life of comfort or pleasure, but the high life Jesus invites us into as our eternal High Priest. Through Hebrews 6 and 7, we see that Jesus didn’t become High Priest for Himself, but for us — to bless, intercede, and lead us into a life marked by rest, faith, and devotion. Like Abraham, who trusted God through Melchizedek, we’re called to live with the same faith — to serve, to give, and to walk in hope. Jesus is still “MelchizedKing,” still priesting, blessing, and building His church today.

He shows from Passover, the Day of Atonement, Isaiah 53, and John 7 that Jesus carried both sin and sickness, and by His stripes we are healed. He challenges us to choose Jesus over the destroyer, to stop at cheap grace, and to step into real freedom by the power of the Spirit. The invitation is clear—come for salvation or rededication, come for healing, and come to be filled. God is drawing you. Don’t harden your heart. His grace is bigger than your sin.

The Naked Truth

Week 5 in our “Hebrews" series is about facing “The Naked Truth” of where we really are with God. From Hebrews 5, Pastor Jarod reminds us that even Jesus learned obedience through what He suffered. We’re called to grow up in our faith—to move from milk to solid food. That means training ourselves, putting in the reps, and learning to tell the difference between good and evil. Too many have settled for a fake version of truth that looks real but isn’t. It’s time to stop making excuses, shake things up, and start doing the will of God and the work He’s called us to do.

In week 4 of our Hebrews series, Pastor Mike shows that Jesus is our Great High Priest who fully sympathizes with our weakness. He knows hunger, thirst, betrayal, rejection, grief, and temptation—yet without sin. Because of this, we can confidently approach the throne of grace for mercy and help in our time of need. Pastor Mike walks us through the role of the high priest and the temple—from the altar and laver to the showbread, lampstand, and incense—culminating in the torn veil and the mercy seat. Jesus is the Gate, the Lamb of God, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, and our Intercessor who declares, “It is finished.” His perfect sacrifice ends the old system and gives us full access to God. Now we are called priests who study the Word, share the good news, and keep our temples holy.

Hebrews 4:12 calls the word of God living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. The Bible isn’t powerful if it remains closed—it comes alive when we engage with it and let it engage us. The logos (Jesus, the Word made flesh) and the rhema (the Spirit’s spoken word) cut to the core of who we are, exposing thoughts and intentions while shaping our lives. We’re reminded that the Word is not meant to be hurled from a distance but used up close in relationship, with grace and truth. Listening, responding, and yielding to God’s Word brings revival, peace, and true rest.

In this week’s message, “In This House” from Hebrews 3:4–6, Pastor Jarod teaches that Christ is the faithful Son over God’s house, and we are that house if we remain confident in Him. He reminds us that although we are imperfect, Jesus continues working in us because of His love. Together we declare bold convictions: in this house we believe there are no perfect people, the full gospel is alive, only Christ destroys the devil’s work, Jesus is both fully God and fully man, unity is essential, and God’s Word is our firm foundation. Pastor Jarod closes by calling us to hold fast our confidence, keep our courage, and remain firm in our hope until the very end.

In the first message of our new "Hebrews" series, "The Danger of the Drift", Pastor Jarod reminds us that in the past God spoke through the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son. Hebrews warns us to pay close attention so we don’t drift away, because drift is subtle—small deviations tolerated over time create massive detours. God gives us a choice in these last days: His wisdom, which is available to all who ask, or His wrath, revealed when truth is suppressed, and hearts grow dark. Even when the current feels strong, with His grace we can course correct and fix our eyes on Jesus.

Prayer is not about formulas or manipulation but about relationship with the Father who is merciful, powerful, and faithful. Jesus models withdrawing to pray, fully confident that His Father hears and answers.
