Rangers get the back to back wins against Buffalo. Mika gets another hat trick in the first game, along with Kakko's two goals and Fox's three assists. In the second game, Shesterkin gets 36 saves in a masterful performance, while Brendan Smith scores again and plays arguably his best game of the season. Lafreniere scores the game winning goal as he has dramatically turned his rookie season around. Next are two big games against the Islanders before the last week of their season.

It seems like a road trip was much needed as the Yanks are able to take 3 out of 4 in Cleveland. Even though a lot of the runs came off of homers (which we've discussed as being an issue), it's nice to see the productive offense that we were expecting when the season first started. Onto Baltimore for a 4 game stint with the O's.

NYR split the two games as they continue the trend of losing one goal games, but some good signs in Lafreniere being moved up to the top line and getting a goal and assist in the second game. The Shesterkin/Georgiev goalie tandem has been strong. Onto Buffalo!

The struggling offense continues as we end up splitting a two game series with the Braves. Even in the game we did win, two out of the three runs weren't even batted in (wild pitch and a walk), so there's not much to celebrate. Maybe a trip away from the stadium will help this team as they face off against Cleveland, but I have my doubts.

Rangers get the 4 game sweep against the Devils. The birthday boys come up big with Buchnevich getting a hat trick Saturday and Zibanejad the game winning goal late Sunday. Back to Long Island to face the Islanders for one game!

If you aren't concerned about the Yankees, you should be; the team looks lost. The Rays continue to own the Yankees in every possible way. We are just not getting enough from this team to win games on a consistent basis.

Back to back shutouts for Igor Shesterkin, the first two shutouts of his NHL career! Panarin continues his torrid scoring pace, now up to 46 points in only 34 games. Two more against the Devils to finish off this four game stretch against them.

Another lost series for the Yankees. The starting pitching, other than Cole, has been very disappointing and the Yankee offense hasn't taken off yet. Next up is another series against the Rays. If we don't start winning some series against our division, we could be in some trouble.

Another split for the Rangers, but with mostly encouraging signs. They win the first matchup in one of their most complete games of the season, getting major contributions from the kids. The Rangers would then come out flat early in the second game, but are able to tie it up and get a point in an OT loss.

Georgiev continues his mastery against the Isles, Kravtsov looks fantastic as he gets his first NHL point and on the flip side, Kreider earns a demotion as his career-long inconsistencies don't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
