The New Zealand Today podcast returns! 

Slightly different format this year but in Ep 1 Guy returns to see his old mate Karen, and finally finish a story they started more than one year ago, the legend of the Thieving F**king Gnome getting sucked out of a car on the Remutakas! 

It's the final episode of series 1 of the New Zealand Today podcast!

Guy and Karen return from their Te Reo specials and have instantly forgotten almost everything they learned. Karen is afraid of electric planes, tells us about the time her favourite cardigan was destroyed by a chimpanzee, and Guy is excited about visiting a sex maze! 

Some people have rightly pointed out that Guy and Karen’s pronunciation of some New Zealand place names… specifically Māori ones… is pretty poor! Last week we tried the South Island, this week they try and work on their "North Island" or "Te Ika-a-Māui" place name pronunciation skills. Huge thanks to Josiah Komene (@josiahkomene on Tik Tok) from TahuFM for helping, that man has the patience of a saint.

In this episode, they try and improve a little bit by hearing the proper pronunciation, with the help of the legend Josiah Komene (@josiahkomene on Tik Tok) from TahuFM! Part one focuses on famous place names from the South Island.
