Jenny’s Place is a not for profit community based charitable organisation that provides the skills, information and support to empower women & children experiencing or escaping domestic violence and family violence and/or homelessness, to live safely and independently, free from violence.

But the group receives no government funding for their services and need your help to keep the doors open.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is offering 2021 and 2022 school leavers in Newcastle a unique opportunity to get a ‘foot in the door’ of the Australian Public Service in addition to a formal qualification and on-the-job training.

ATO Assistant Commissioner Kristy Dam, who joined Tracy Mac to explain the program, said it offers school leavers an excellent pathway to kick off their careers.
