2007-2008 Championship-winning Coach Gary Van Egmond will return to Newcastle Jets as an A-League Men’s Assistant Coach while also acting as a technical advisor to the A-League Women’s team.

It will be Gary's third stint with the Jets following an initial three-year period (2006-09) in charge, he returned in 2011 after the sudden sacking of Branko Culina.

Gary has been working with the Matildas, Young Socceroos, Olyroos and Western Sydney over the past several years and is excited to be back home.
