The disappearance of an Eagle River man almost a year ago is still leaving his friends questioning what happened.

A 32-year-old Anchorage man was sentenced last week to serve a composite sentence of 88 years in prison for murder and attempted murder.

School buses in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley will not be running starting Monday “through the foreseeable future,” according to Teamsters Local 959.
