Three climbers lost their lives this week after falling on the upper slopes of North America’s tallest peak, according to an international mountaineering group.

No one was injured after an aborted takeoff occurred at Eielson Air Force Base on Friday morning.

The National Security Agency is receiving $100 million for facility renovations and new personnel in Alaska, Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, told Alaska’s News Source Friday. The funding comes as Russia has escalated threats against the United States and Ukraine.
