As the federal, state and local governments work to repair Kipnuk and Kwigillingok following the devastation of former Typhoon Halong, all parties say they’re working against the clock.

A coordinated effort is underway this week to transition Halong evacuees from congregate sheltering to non-congregate sheltering.

Resources are available this week for residents of Kipnuk and Kwigillingok displaced by ex-Typhoon Halong who need documents and a change of address request.
