Most recently, the Current acquire USWNT forward Lynn Williams in a trade with the North Carolina Courage and hire a new general manager and goalkeeper coach. The Courage also made moves of their own, signing Brazilian International forward Kerolin Nicoli Israel Ferraz. Gotham FC resigns NWSL 2021 Defender of the Year Caprice Dydasco, Kansas City sends forward Darian Jenkins to Orlando Pride and forward Yuki Nagasato heads home to Chicago Red Stars from Racing Louisville. On the other side of the world, FA WSL matchday 11 proved for some big upsets with Birmingham City destroying Arsenal's undefeated season 2-0 in Birmingham's first win of the 2021-2022 season.
