Human Powered Transportation- Two conferences in La Crosse this week deal with the topics of non-motorized transportation including walking, mass transit and bicycles. We talk with advocates about the advantages of encouraging more human powered transportation.

La Crosse Area Family Collaborative- The program started earlier this year in two of the city of La Crosse's at-risk neighborhoods. Social workers make house calls on families in those neighborhoods who may be having problems with issues like quality housing, healthcare or truancy in schools.
