The US National Women’s Soccer League is expanding faster than any other major sports league in North America. It's added four new franchises in just two years, with the latest selling for $53 million—10 times the amount of the last sale. Now, the NWSL is trying to capitalize on the hype of the women's World Cup, leveraging the US women’s national team to bring fans into American stadiums.
