After three years in the Name, Image and Likeness world of collegiate athletics, the University of North Carolina has moved to the umbrella approach and has launched Carolina NIL, an all-sports collective merging Heels4Life and the Secondary Break Club as well as other sport collectives managing the school’s 28 programs. On this edition of Inside Carolina’s Next Level, Greg Barnes joins Tommy Ashley to discuss what Carolina NIL means, how the past three years have led to this formation and how it all affects UNC athletics going forward.
