The Tim Hortons Museum, located at the site of the original Tim Hortons restaurant at 65 Ottawa Street North in Hamilton, Ontario, celebrates the history of one of Canada’s most recognizable brands. The first Tim Hortons opened at this location on May 17, 1964, founded by NHL star Tim Horton. The historic location combines a working Tim Hortons restaurant with museum exhibits showcasing the company's evolution through vintage memorabilia, early packaging, uniforms, advertising, hockey-related displays and pieces representing the original restaurant. The museum offers visitors a look at how a small Hamilton coffee-and-donut shop developed into a major part of Canadian popular culture. In 2025, the museum experience was redesigned, moving exhibits from the building's second floor into the main restaurant area so they could be more accessible to visitors. The updated displays include historic Tim Hortons cups, memorabilia from the Roll Up the Rim campaign, vintage branding and a replica of the original Tim Hortons sign.
