Canada’s Wonderland has introduced a permanent chaperone policy for the 2026 season, changing the rules for younger visitors to the popular Vaughan amusement park. Under the policy, guests aged 15 and younger must be accompanied by someone who is at least 21 years old after 4 p.m. The chaperone must enter the park with the group, remain inside the park and be available if staff need to contact them. One adult can supervise up to 10 guests aged 15 or younger. Canada’s Wonderland says the policy is intended to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment and is not connected to one specific incident. Ontario’s dispute with Crown Royal sparked controversy after Premier Doug Ford threatened to pull the iconic Canadian whisky from LCBO shelves. The move came in response to parent company Diageo’s decision to close its Crown Royal bottling facility in Amherstburg, Ontario, putting approximately 160 jobs at risk.
