When Jesus called his disciples to follow him, they soon experienced change in their lives. They began to understand why God created them. What was important to them before was not so important anymore. They found new life and new hope.

The same can happen to every one of us when we follow Christ. What do YOU need to see before that happens? Join us Sunday at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn, and bring a friend.

Hey Family,

Join us this Sunday as we meet at the intersection of Expectation and Disappointment. We won’t stay there, though! Pastor Gus will lead us through how we can hold on to the truth of what we know and push back the cloud of doubt that tries to keep us from trusting the promises and plan of God.

We’re observing all health protocols at 360 Schermerhorn, but if you can’t make our live service, there will be a brief preview online Saturday at 6 p.m. on Zoom, 472 778 7718, password 0825. Kids’ Church will meet as well! --Edwin

Hey Family,

In this Advent series we have been looking forward to Christ’s birth through the first-hand experiences of those who were there at the first Christmas. This Sunday we’ll read Luke 1:46-55, some of the most beautiful verses in the Bible. An angel has told Mary that will give birth to the Messiah, the promised savior of the world. Mary is just a teenager at the time, unmarried, in a society that will make her an outcast once they find out she is having a baby. She has no assurances about the future—but still, she rejoices.

Come and rejoice with us Sunday at 10 a.m. We’ll celebrate Communion as a church family. Kids’ Church is observing the Advent season in their own service, so bring your children ages 4-11. (And please remember to bring a wrapped gift, if you chose a name from the kids’ Christmas tree last week. The kids’ Christmas party will be Sunday the 19th.) We’re observing health protocols at 360 Schermerhorn, but if you can’t make our live service, there will be a brief preview online Saturday at 6 p.m. on Zoom, 472 778 7718, password 0825. --Edwin
