NFL Daily

The 2020 NFL Draft process is ramping up, with the Senior Bowl playing a huge role. The 2020 Senior Bowl (and the critically-important practices) is now the books and NFL Daily host Tom Downey is here with a look at some Senior Bowl Winners and Losers. Those include some NFL Draft Sleepers, risers and fallers as we hear the NFL Draft rumors start to grow closer to the 2020 Draft.

Justin Herbert was the Senior Bowl MVP in the game and practice, likely helping him lock into a Top 10 draft pick. On defense, Bradlee Anae and Troy Pride Jr. helped their stock in the North’s 34-17 win over the South.

Some of the top NFL Draft prospects at the 2020 Senior Bowl were wide receivers. There were lots of winners in that position group, but KJ Hill, Van Jefferson and Denzel Mims impressed the most of anyone.

Some small schools players really impressed and helped their draft stock this week. Kyle Dugger might be the biggest winner, while Adam Trautman and Ben Bartch also wowed. Tweeners can have a tough spot in the NFL, but 3 of them impressed this week. Jason Strowbridge, Marlon Davidson and Josh Uche all really helped their draft stock this week.

The 2020 NFL Draft process is underway with postseason All-Star games. The NFLPA Bowl and the East-West Shrine Game were played already, with the Senior Bowl now also done So which prospects are helping and hurting their draft stock? Most of the players in these games and practices are Day 2-3 prospects, but there are still plenty worth discussing. With the NFL Combine next up, time is running out for players to really impact their stock.

But the NFL Draft isn’t only positive, sadly. There were some players who hurt their draft stock this week, like Zack Baun and Nick Harris.

Here’s the full breakdown of the winners:

Kyle Dugger (S, Lenoir-Rhyne)

Justin Herbert (QB, Oregon)

Darius Anderson (RB, TCU)

Lamical Perine (RB, FLA)

Joshua Kelley (RB, UCLA)

Denzel Mims (WR, Baylor)

The 2020 NFL Draft will feature plenty of risers, fallers and sleepers and some of those prospects emerge at the East-West Shrine Game. With that game over, let’s take a look at some of the Shrine Game winners and losers. They include prospects from Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska and more as we hear the NFL Draft rumors start to grow.

The 2020 NFL Draft process is underway with postseason All-Star games. The NFLPA Bowl and the East-West Shrine Game have been played already, with the Senior Bowl coming up soon. Two of the top NFL Draft prospects at the 2020 Shrine game were actually running backs. Benny LeMay and James Robinson both impressed, opening the possibility they could get the call-up to the Senior Bowl. Adrian Killins of UCF is undersized, but flashed in the game. As did QB James Morgan of FIU, the top QB at the Shrine game this year.

Michigan and Ohio State will once again have several prospects drafted, and Binjimen Victor + Michael Onwenu both impressed this week. On defense, another Big Ten player in Khalil Davis showed upside.

Here’s the full breakdown of the winners:

- James Morgan (QB, Florida International)

- Benny LeMay (RB, Charlotte)

- James Robinson (RB, Illinois State)

- Adrian Killins Jr. (RB, UCF)

- Binjimen Victor (WR, Ohio State)

- Michael Onwenu (IOL, Michigan)

- Alex Highsmith (EDGE, Charlotte)

- Khalil Davis (DL, Nebraska)

- McTelvin Agim (DL, Arkansas)

- Jeremiah Dinson (DB, Auburn)

And the main loser was Mason Fine (QB, North Texas), due to his poor weigh-in numbers.

AFC playoff picture, schedule, matchups, dates and times are set for the NFL Divisional round in the AFC. After a great wild card weekend that featured the Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans & Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots. The Baltimore Ravens & Kansas City Chiefs have secured first round byes, with the Ravens owning home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Texans vs. Bills was a fantastic game that had to go to overtime. Deshaun Watson led a game-winning drive that set up a Ka'imi Fairbairn 28-yard field goal which gave Houston the 22-19 victory. With the Texans win they will travel to Kansas City to battle the Chiefs where they already won earlier this season 31-24 back in Week 6.

The star of this game was RB Derrick Henry who set a Titans postseason record with 182 rushing yards on 34 carries. The Titans will now travel to Baltimore to take on MVP Lamar Jackson.
