This week we had the pleasure of chopping it up with Chris Patrick to discuss his creative process and how his life experiences have elevated his artistry. Chris Patrick is a rising star in the hip hop scene and recently released ‘From The Heart Vol.2’ which was one of the best projects of 2020.  He was born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, and holds his hometown close to his heart. We spoke about the importance of impact over numbers, how manifestation leads to success and the new music that Chris is working on in 2021.

From his early days DJing with the World Class Wreckin’ Cru to pioneering gangsta rap with N.W.A, Dr. Dre has always contributed to pushing hip hop forward. In 1992 he released his debut album The Chronic with Snoop Dogg and then went on to executive produce Doggystyle. He would go on to produce for some of the biggest rappers in the game, become a successful entrepreneur and solidify his spot as one of the most important hip hop figures in history.

Drake has confirmed that his sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy will be released in January of 2021. In August of 2020, Drake dropped the amazing single Laugh Now Cry Later and in October he released a teaser trailer to the upcoming Certified Lover Boy album. In the trailer Drake pays homage and re-creates his old album covers which has made fans believe that he might return to his old sound and drop a classic album. In 2020 we saw many of our favorite artists release music and the hip hop genre strived as usual.
