Some people dream of starring roles, their name in lights and their picture on the cover of magazines. However, the cost is far too high. Despite the glittering lifestyles on the surface, it is not so nice to be a celebrity who is always in public eye. Celebrities lead very stressful lives, for no matter how glamorous or powerful they are, they have too little privacy and too much pressure. A great organizational culture is the key to developing the traits necessary for business success. Despite this, only 31 percent of HR leaders believe their organizations have the culture they need to drive future business, and getting there is no easy task — 85 percent of organizations fail in transforming their cultures.

The National Health Department is concerned about the rising number of illegal abortions in the country. This is despite the existence of 346 public health facilities authorised to perform legal and safe abortions.

These facilities conducted 11 621 abortions on adolescents during the 2021/22 financial year.

They also terminated another 73 426 pregnancies on young women, from 20 years and above. The National Health Department says many women, who opt for illegal abortions claim that the reception at public health facilities is unwelcoming.

Deputy Health Minister Sibongiseni Dlomo says there is still a lot of stigmatisation around abortion, and a lot still needs to be done.

Agri SA is concerned that the decision of the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) to grant Eskom a 9.61% increase in the electricity tariff will place even more strain on an agricultural sector that is already under pressure. The new tariff will take effect on 1 April 2022.

The increase comes just one day after the Budget Speech in which Minister Godongwana announced an increase in a variety of taxes and excise such as the Health Promotion Levy that negatively affect specific commodity producers. Cumulatively, these increases can only hamper the ability of the sector to recover from the shocks of the past two years.
