Night Rule

We discuss media and more with the great Mark Thompson of The Edge, TYT and the new CNBC documentary series "Super Heists."

We then check in with long-time friend of the show and honored guest Adnan Husain of Queens university to discuss some of the less-discussed history of Afghanistan as well as thoughts about the prospects there as the situation on the ground evolves.

Some thoughts on the fall of Afghanistan amidst a multitude of military blunders and moral crimes.

We were beyond blessed to be joined by legendary musician Ron Sexsmith for our 43rd Night Rule.

We discuss, among other things, the songs: "Is It or Isn't It" "Chateau Mermaid" "Who We Are Right Now" "Get in Line" "Feel for the Driver" "Snake Road" as well his book "Deer Life" & what it was like playing "Caroline, No" for Paul and Linda McCartney over a casual breakfast.

Great times.

We discuss Harvey's recent piece on junior senator (R) John Hawley's bizarre appropriation of radical history as well as other topics close to heart and spirit this summer.

Night Rule returns with a delightful concoction of guests and concepts, touching on space, science, and society.

Save me a spot on the space station.

Much Love,

All hail the New Humanitude.

Don't forget to call your congress-person (or MP for that matter) once you've posted on FB.

Much love to those suffering in the wake of tragedy.

Much love to those committed to a better world.

Much love to all.

Was a joy to host two charismatic, intelligent gentlemen and go over our thoughts on the Biden administration so far.

I had originally invited Boss Bitch Hannah Feldman on to talk about joke writing, but given current events, the conversation had to take this course.

Much love to all of you out there wondering, wailing, suffering under the weight of the cruelties of our human world. We all must do what we can.
