The Trump Administration’s aggressive crackdown on immigration continues as federal authorities arrest two judges; a Wisconsin judge and a former New Mexico judge in two separate cases. Both are accused of interfering with Trump administration immigration enforcement efforts. The arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan is very similar to the 2019 case of MA judge Shelley Joseph who was accused of helping an undocumented immigrant evade ICE agents. Dan discussed the similarities between both the WI and MA case as well as dive into the case out of New Mexico of a former judge and his wife accused of harboring of an undocumented immigrant with alleged ties to the notorious gang Tren de Aragua.

Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his legal defense team continue to challenge the bomber’s death sentence arguing two of the jurors were biased and should have been stricken from the panel. The First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston has instructed Judge George A. O’Toole Jr. to take another look at the alleged bias of those jurors. However, Tsarnaev’s team wants Judge O’Toole to recuse himself (which the Judge refuses to do) over comments he made about the case on a podcast that the defense says raises, “concerns about his impartiality.” Do you think the bomber should receive the death penalty? Do you think the sentencing needed to be revisited?

Tuesday marked President Trump’s first 100 days in office. During Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, he laid out an “America first” policy that included: a crackdown on immigration, an overhaul of the federal government, a drop in grocery prices, global tariffs, the end of wars and elimination of DEI programs, among others. So far, it appears President Trump has kept the promises he ran on, shaking the status quo in the process. After Pres. Trump’s first 100 days in office, what is your feedback?
