Boston, despite having the largest year-over-year decrease in traffic delay time for any city in the top 25 most congested American cities, ranks 4th in the U.S. for having the worst traffic congestion. Florida has a new law that just went into effect called the “HALO” law, “Honoring and Listening to Our Officers.” The law creates a 25-foot buffer zone around first responders. If a first responder asks you to back off during the course of their duties and you fail to do so, you could face a second-degree misdemeanor charge punishable by up to 60 days in jail or a $500 fine.
