マレーシア生活（せいかつ）２週間（にしゅうかん）が経（た）ちました。初（はじ）めの１週間（いっしゅうかん）は生活（せいかつ）に慣（な）れるのが精一杯（せいいっぱい）で、なかなかクアラルンプールを楽し（たの）めず、ポッドキャストでもあまりポジティブな報告（ほうこく）ができなかった私（わたし）たちですが、１週目（いっしゅうめ）と違（ちが）って２週目（にしゅうめ）は、少（すこ）しこちらの生活（せいかつ）にも慣（な）れて、二人（ふたり）とも前向（まえむ）きなことが言（い）えるようになりました。とらくんはバドミントンを通（つう）じて学校（がっこう）でも友達（ともだち）ができ、学校（がっこう）が楽（たの）しくなったようです。私（わたし）もジムのスタッフと仲良（なかよ）くなったりで、趣味（しゅみ）を持（も）つことが海外生活（かいがいせいかつ）でとても重要（じゅうよう）なんだなということに気（き）づきました。１週目（いっしゅうめ）と違（ちが）ってだいぶ前向（まえむ）きになった私（わたし）たちの生活（せいかつ）を聞（き）いてください。

It has been two weeks since we started living in Malaysia. In the first week, we were so focused on getting used to life here that we couldn’t really enjoy Kuala Lumpur, and we weren’t able to share many positive updates in the podcast. However, unlike the first week, by the second week, we’ve gotten a bit more accustomed to life here, and both of us can now speak more positively. Tora has made friends at school through badminton, and it seems like he’s started to enjoy school. I’ve also become friends with the gym staff, which made me realize how important it is to have hobbies when living abroad. Please listen to how much more positive our life has become compared to the first week.

マレーシアに来（き）て一週間（いっしゅうかん）が経（た）ちました。それぞれの宿泊先（しゅくはくさき）での出来事（できごと）やトラブル、電車（でんしゃ）に乗（の）る苦労（くろう）さ、語学学校（ごがくがっこう）の様子（ようす）など、一週間（いっしゅうかん）で感（かん）じたことをお互（たが）いに話（はな）しています。一週間（いっしゅうかん）過（す）ごしてみて、今回（こんかい）の旅行（りょこう）は単（たん）なるホリデーではないことを痛感（つうかん）している私（わたし）たちです。でも確実（かくじつ）に成長（せいちょう）もしています。今回は愚痴（ぐち）の多（おお）いエピソードですが、帰（かえ）る頃（ころ）にはきっとさらに強（つよ）くなった2人（ふたり）の経験（けいけん）をお伝（つた）えできるかと思（おも）います！！

It’s been a week since we arrived in Malaysia. We’re talking about what we’ve experienced in our respective accommodations, the troubles we’ve faced, the struggles with riding the trains, and how the language school is going. After spending a week here, we’ve realized that this trip is far from just a holiday. But we’re definitely growing through it. Although this episode is filled with complaints, by the time we return, we’ll surely be stronger and ready to share our experiences!

7月末(がつまつ)からとらくんとマレーシアに来(き)ています。今回（こんかい）はマレーシアから録音(ろくおん)してお送(おく)りしています。実(じつ)は日本(にほん)からマレーシアまで私(わたし)たち2人(にん)は別々(べつべつ)の航空会社(こうくうがいしゃ)で来(き)ました。とらくんはシンガポール航空(こうくう)、私(わたし)は日本航空(にほんこうくう)です。かつて機内(きない)サービス世界(せかい)１だったシンガポール航空(こうくう)ですが、とらくんはあまり満足(まんぞく)できなかったようです。私(わたし)の乗(の)った日本航空(にほんこうくう)はサービスもよくて大満足(だいまんぞく)でした。そんな機内(きない)でのサービスについて、２つの航空会社(こうくうがいしゃ)を比較(ひかく)しながら話(はな)しました。

Since the end of July, Tora-kun and I have been in Malaysia. This time, we are recording from Malaysia. Actually, from Japan to Malaysia, the two of us flew with different airlines. Tora-kun flew with Singapore Airlines, while I flew with Japan Airlines. Once ranked as the best in-flight service in the world, Singapore Airlines did not meet Tora-kun's expectations. On the other hand, I was very satisfied with the service on Japan Airlines. In this episode, we talk about our experiences and compare the in-flight services of these two airlines.

街（まち）の中（なか）が綺麗（きれい）で住（す）みやすい日本（にほん）ですが、その裏（うら）にはコミュニティ内（ない）での厳（きび）しいルールがあることもあります。例（たと）えばジムやサウナでは声（こえ）を出（だ）さない、静（しず）かにする、などなど。また、東京（とうきょう）などにある人気（にんき）のラーメン店（てん）ではその店独自（みせどくじ）のルールがあることもあります。今回はSNS上（じょう）で討論（とうろん）となったラーメン屋（や）の厳（きび）しいルールについて話（はな）しました。食事中（しょくじちゅう）に何（なに）をするかは、個人（こじん）の自由（じゆう）の気（き）がしますが、あるラーメン店（みせ）では食事中（しょくじちゅう）のあることが禁止（きんし）されているようです。ぜひ皆（みな）さんのご意見（いけん）を聞（き）かせてください。

While Japan is known for its clean streets and livability, there are also strict community rules behind the scenes. For example, in gyms and saunas, you are expected to be quiet and not raise your voice. Similarly, popular ramen shops in places like Tokyo often have their own unique rules.

In this episode, we discussed the strict rules of a ramen shop that became a hot topic on social media. While it seems like it should be up to the individual what to do during a meal, one ramen shop has banned a particular activity during dining.

たまたま見（み）ていたテレビ番組（ばんぐみ）で物欲主義者（ぶつよくしゅぎしゃ）とミニマリストがそれぞれの意見（いけん）を主張（しゅちょう）し合（あ）っていました。全（まった）く食（く）い違（ちが）う意見（いけん）を見（み）ていて、私（わたし）は一体（いったい）どっちに属（ぞく）するのか、と考（かんが）えてしまいました。そこで今回（こんかい）はその番組（ばんぐみ）で出（で）ていた両者（りょうしゃ）の意見（いけん）を参考（さんこう）に、自分（じぶん）たちが物欲主義者（ぶつよくしゅぎしゃ）なのか、またはミニマリストなのかを考（かんが）えてみました。皆（みな）さんも自分（じぶん）がどちらに属（ぞく）するか聞（き）きながら考（かんが）えてみてください。

By chance, I was watching a TV show where materialists and minimalists were each expressing their opinions. Seeing their completely opposing views made me wonder which group I belong to. So, in this episode, we took the opinions presented on that show as a reference and thought about whether we are materialists or minimalists. 今（いま）「The Crown」というドラマにハマっています。エリザベス女王（じょおう）のストーリーを通（とお）して、イギリスの王室制度（おうしつせいど）、結婚観（けっこんかん）、日本（にほん）の皇室制度（こうしつせいど）との違（ちが）いなどなど、学（まな）ぶことがたくさんありました。特（とく）に、恋愛（れんあい）や結婚（けっこん）が大（おお）きく関係（かんけい）してくる王室内（おうしつない）の生活（せいかつ）は、日本（にほん）と比（くら）べて大（おお）きく違（ちが）っていてとても興味深（きょうみぶか）いものでした。私（わたし）が感（かん）じた個人的（こじんてき）なドラマの感想（かんそう）を話（はな）しています。あくまでもドラマについての個人的（こじんてき）な感想（かんそう）であり、実際（じっさい）のイギリス王室（おうしつ）や国王（こくおう）を批判（ひはん）したものではありませんので、ご了承（りょうしょう）ください。笑

I am currently hooked on the drama "The Crown." Through Queen Elizabeth's story, I have learned a lot about the British monarchy, views on marriage, and the differences from the Japanese imperial system. In particular, the lifestyle within the royal family, where romance and marriage play a significant role, is very different from Japan's, and it is very intriguing. I share my personal impressions of the drama. Please note that these are just my personal opinions about the drama and not criticisms of the actual British royal family or the monarch.
