After Nikki vanished, her husband Tyler McCain publicly pleaded for her safe return. He apologized to both families and said he wanted to help find her. But in August 2025, everything changed. Tyler was arrested and charged with Nikki's murder. Prosecutors allege he had a motive to silence Nikki—one that involves a disturbing history and a case that was dismissed when Nikki disappeared.
