In this episode we mixed it up a little bit we have kind of like a dialogue going on where the host of the show is at intertwining questions. Erica goes in to talk about her addiction, her turning point in her addiction and where she’s at in recovery now. Ashley has a powerful story. A story when told, was my first time ever hearing these things about her and it brought me to tears. She has a powerful testimony of overcoming horrific trials as a child and well in to her young adult life to now having faith in the Lord, being and amazing mother and wife as well as starting her own entrepreneurial journey. The creator of the show did an interview for a YouTube channel called the addiction series. She briefly explained some of the things that she experienced in life what she felt had a big play in the way her life turned out. Despite all the pain and struggling Nikkie aka Nicole Scimone, was able to overcome all of it. Not only is she the creator of this podcast but she's also a substance abuse counselor, and is beginning her journey with doing things within her community, and lining up goals to be able to achieve her future goal which is opening up a woman's rehab in her city of Yucca Valley.

Nikki is calling in from Arizona to share her beautiful story of recovery. Not only has she overcome such horrible things as addiction she is also fought through mental health and homelessness. Her addiction has begun just like so many of us, the curse of big pharma. She was hit by a drunk driver which started her dependency upon prescription painkillers, which then led to other addictions. This woman is an amazing story of pain, abuse, struggle, generational curses, Mental Health and overcoming it all with one day at a time.
