We Finally made it to SEMA 2019. Jon and Randy chat about the road to getting to SEMA and today's SEMA. They unveiled a Kindig Designs VW, Ford 250, Hyundai Veloster that was Safari'd out (lifted and on mud tires, a Skyblue Corvette C8 Convertible, the next IMSA Corvette C8 race car, a full electric Chevy C-10, an 800 hp final version VW Beetle, a stripped down Dodge Hellcat, and last but not least an RWB Porsche.

We're joined this week by the Buchka brothers, Alex and Karl. Their love for tinkering and unique projects is what caught Jon's eye at a recent cars and coffee. Specifically they have a turbo Volvo 242 known as the @242fakeracecar. They also happen to both be rocket engineers, not to be confused with Rocket Scientists! We talk through their shared workshop/mancave with their buddies, Alex's role as a scrutineer with Formual SAE, and the ins and outs of their project cars. We eventually get to a DRO report where we have them choose between their white 242 Volvo turbo, their 242 fake race car, and their Ford F100/Crown Victoria mashup named the Crown Viccup.

Randy visits the Google LA office and bumps into RJ De Vera. Jon takes the M3 to Eibachtoberfest at Eibach Headquarters for some bratwursts. We introduce "What you Driving" to discuss what car we would drive when listening to a specific song, we get into "Tales from the 3rd World" to discuss our personal ghost stories (boo!). Finally, the mini-series continues and we get into the German vs Japanese battle to decide who wins the reliability award.

Tales from the Third World is back with Jon and Randy's Crazy Experiences. We debate a potential trade of the E92 M3 for a new Focus RS, we debate who's the better car maker between German and Japanese brands, and finally go Under The Hood for this week's headlines!

We start by talking about the evolution of Jon's Rio. Jon tells us a joke...and THEN we get into the official show. The OC Auto Show is back in our neck of the woods. Jon gives a Lotus the business in his M3 and shops for an old school Chevy Nova?  The Gatekeepers finally make a comeback and discuss whether a person is really a car enthusiast if their car is stock (There are levels to this $#it!) and the Supra already has a recall, but by who?

Randy visits the 15th Japanese Classic Car Show and sits in a Supra. "Who's more likely to" is back to decide which one of us is more likely to deny a return on craigslist. Jon finally sells his wheels on Offerup. Lastly, we go Under the Hood to discuss the comments by Toyota's chief engineer that the next Toyota 86 will be better than the Supra and does Kevin Hart have a case after his car accident?

Jon visits Cars and Coffee meets in OC and South Bay (SoCal) and gets a taste of the vibes at each, he finds out super cars aren't what make a Cars and Coffee a winner. We then talk about getting lovestruck over buying a used car and not always noticing when things aren't up to standard. We cover headlines and the latest in the California exhaust laws and the federal emission standards fight happening. Lastly we talk about bullying in school and society today and how we grew stronger through our experiences despite the sensitivity that bullying is being addressed with at the moment.

Jon's career as a baller ends before it begins and it turns out the Philippines balls out too. The e92 M3 gets a new exhaust, we argue what is real underground hip hop (Culture, right?), and we help you figure out how to sponsor your race team. Lastly, we talk about the eCigarette ban and Jon's suspicion that its big tobacco flexing their muscle.

Jon Gives Us the Latest on the M3. Porsche is ready with the "Tesla Killer". the Taycan. Will it live up to the hype or will its value will tank in 3 years like the BMW i8? Finally, we end with the final scene in Jon's BMW shop drama.
