In the seventh episode of "No Condemnation," Duane Sheriff teaches how our own hearts can be a source of condemnation. While God doesn't condemn us, we often struggle with feelings of unworthiness and guilt. 1 John 3:18-22 reveals how our hearts can condemn or give us confidence before God. 

Living in love and truth assures our hearts, but sin can defile our conscience and lead to self-condemnation. Hebrews 9:14 speaks about how the blood of Christ cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Unlike the old covenant sacrifices, which provided only temporary relief, Christ's sacrifice offers eternal redemption and the ability to purge our conscience continually.

Repentance isn't about earning God's love or forgiveness but cleansing our conscience and aligning our hearts with God's truth. God is greater than our hearts and knows all things (1 John 3:20). Even when our hearts condemn us, we can trust in God's love, forgiveness, and acceptance, allowing us to move forward in our faith with confidence.
