The state of Missouri is suing the country of China over the effects of the coronavirus. President Trump was asked about the lawsuit during today’s White House briefing and host Ryan Wrecker has the audio. One side-effect of the economic shutdown is the loss of a large percentage of internships for college students. A’Lelia Bundles, great-great-granddaughter of Madam C. J. Walker, and Linda Nance, founding president of the Annie Malone Historical Society, discuss “Hollywood Versus History,” a panel discussion through the Missouri History Museum exploring what responsibilities, if any, Hollywood has in telling the stories of our past. Part of the STL Live series, the two will discuss “Self-Made,” the recent Netflix series that explores the life of Madam C. J. Walker and sheds light on the power of African American women as entrepreneurs and business leaders Thursday night at 6pm.
