Host Ryan Wrecker opens this hour with going back to the discussion about the shooting in Parkland, Florida including courtroom audio from the judge and the defense attorney.  After that, callers chime in with more thoughts relating to a desensitizing culture in the U.S. harming youth.  Ryan then shares audio of student’s accounts of the shooting. Ryan takes more calls from listeners, including one woman who lost her nephew to suicide in Florida just last week.

Chris Hrabe from the KMOX Sports Department joins host Ryan Wrecker from Jupiter, Florida to keep us up to date on all the Cardinals spring training news and notes. Ryan then discusses the story of the constantly screaming child on an 8-hour flight from Germany to New York and asks how to handle situations like this. KMOX “Route 66” host Johnny Rabbit then joins the show to tell us about his upcoming presentation at the Missouri History Museum focusing on the history of St. Louis radio.

Dr. Stone Kraushaar, also known as “The Hug Doctor,” joins host Ryan Wrecker to educate him on the often taken for granted act of hugging. He is authoring a new book entitled “Hug Therapy: A 21 Day Hugging Journey to Embracing Yourself, Your Life, and Everyone Around You.” The doctor even convinces Ryan to start his own 21-day hug challenge, which Wrecker immediately accepts by hugging listeners on the air!

Every morning host Ryan Wrecker brings you the best positive stories every morning.  This morning Ryan starts with a story of a 5th grade class that is trying to end violence in the world by showing kindness to everyone.  After that, Listener Rick calls in to share his story of proposing to his former wife on Valentine’s Day.  Next, Ryan brings you today’s dumb criminal story.  A man applied for a job at a store and then stole something.  Upon coming in for an interview the owner confronted him and made him do a public apology on Facebook.  Ryan ends the hour sharing what many recruiters believe are things that will not get you the job. 

How was your Valentine’s Day?  Did you go big and flashy?  This morning host Ryan Wrecker admits that his Valentine’s Day lacked a lot of flair.  After that, Ryan talks with author Dawn Maslar about her latest book Men Chase, Women Choose: The Neuroscience of Meeting, Dating, Losing Your Mind, and Finding True Love.  Ryan then transitions to talking with Dave Scott from Spaced Out Radio to talk about how the government is really fueling the belief that aliens really do exist. 

Host Ryan Wrecker continues to discuss today’s high school shooting in Parkland, Florida and what can be done to prevent future similar incidents. Michael Calhoun of KMOX News then joins Wrecker to discuss the St. Louis County Council’s ethics meeting Tuesday involving the controversy surrounding County Executive Steve Stenger’s Northwest Plaza Deal. The unusual and unprecedented 20-year lease for new county offices was signed to a complex owned by Robert and P. David Glarner, who have contributed $365,000 to Stenger’s political campaigns, more than 10% of his total donations received.
