Every morning we ask you to share something good with us. This morning host Ryan Wrecker shares a story of Texas Rangers Pitcher donating a massive home in Branson, MO to a Christian charity to host camps there. The Police Officer’s Association for the Illinois State Police donated bed and other major items to a brand new, soon to open, homeless shelter for Young Men in East St. Louis. In Atlanta a local Chick-fil-A stepped up to help stranded passengers at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport with food on a day they are normally closed. After that Wrecker sits down with Dave Scott from Spaced Out Radio to talk about the public disclosure of the U.S. Military program for UFO’s.
Comedian Kevin Hart was on Saturday Night Live for the 3rd time last weekend. Some are claiming that he is tone-deaf to gender roles after hearing his monologue. Host Ryan Wrecker explains his opinion that it was all just comedy and people are making too big a deal about it, as happens all too often in today’s society. Wrecker gives examples of a high school abandoning the use of the term “freshman” and another of a person who was yelled at for asking what the gender of their child is. Wrecker says the reviews are in and Fox’s LIVE rendition of A Christmas Story: The Musical was not a hit. Many online say the acting was terrible and the music was distracting. What would you do if a courier lost a bank draft note for several hundred thousand dollars. That’s what one Canadian couple had to deal with after UPS lost their envelope. Finally, Wrecker ends the hour discussing the impact of Disney acquiring 21st Century Fox.
President Trump gave a speech this evening addressing a new national security strategy. Host Ryan Wrecker plays some of his remarks and adds his own critique. Dave Scott of Spaced Out Radio then joins the show to tell us about The Pentagon’s recent admittance of secret UFO investigations and to discuss where the next frontier of exploration may be.
The Preservation Board oversees the merit of new buildings in downtown St. Louis and had a meeting today discussing the proposal for a new skyscraper near Busch Stadium. Michael Calhoun of KMOX News joins Host Ryan Wrecker to share what came of the assembly. Ryan also discusses net neutrality and why he is concerned that it is likely going away.
