To some, “Tiny Homes” is the new craze. Host Ryan Wrecker is not one of those people, and explains why. He then discusses a photo tweet by Ellen DeGeneres in reference to Katy Perry’s physique, and why some are slamming her for being sexist or not holding herself to her own alleged standard. After that, Wrecker talks with Otis Williams from the Saint Louis Development Corporation to talk about what a smart city is and why we are becoming one. Wrecker rounds out the hour talking about how Cambridge University is now listing Trigger Warnings on some classes that include content that could provoke certain negative memories.
In an unpredictable turn of events, our conversation about the JFK assassination ends in the controversial understanding that Kennedy was, per callers, an X-Men mutant. Wrecker then brings up a new Amazon proposal that would allow the company access to your home for package drop-off when you are not there. Callers weigh in with their opinions on the perhaps scary idea.
KMOX News Anchor Alex Degman joins Host Ryan Wrecker in studio to discuss the hoopla over the release of more information about the JFK assassination. We take your calls on the matter, conspiracies and all, as Wrecker runs through a list of interesting documents that stood out to him in the release.
Halloween is approaching and there are certain things one listener says you need to know. This listener gives host Ryan Wrecker all the tips he needs to know to take his son Trick-R-Treating. Wrecker is also on the hunt for a place to go for date night with the wife, kid-free. A listener called in to share their idea of a Greek Restaurant to try out. Wrecker then asks you to call in with general feel-good stories. Wrecker starts the segment sharing President Trumps declaration that the Opioid crisis is a National Health Emergency. After that Wrecker shares a story out of Kenya where a man found himself down on his luck and turned to drugs when someone actually took notice and helped him turn his life around. Then Wrecker talks about a soldier who had to leave for duty but his house wasn’t finished being painted. Students in Salina, Kansas took on the task and completed it before he could leave for duty.
