Dr. Ken Harris is back from assignment on Truth In The Afternoon, with his thoughts on the state of our economy due to the recently imposed tariffs from President Trump. From political leanings to the state of our economy during Trump's first time in office, he questions where the panic is coming from & urges the public to do more research on the nature of the market along with its ebbs & flows.

Dr. Ken takes calls from listeners and discusses black wealth, asking Truth Nation if we should maintain black businesses and entities, along with their thoughts and ideas on how to maintain and pass down assets to the next generation.

Dr. Ken Harris kicks off the second hour of Truth In The Afternoon with his Top 5 @ 5 with stories you may have missed in and around Milwaukee, such as updates on the Maryland father trapped in El Salvador after wrongful deportation from I.C.E, the quickly plunging stock market and the Trump administrations' involvement, and a 13 year old child carrying a loaded gun to a local Milwaukee school amongst other pertinent news.

Dr. Ken speaks further on our economic fears and hears out Truth Nation as they converse and debate how we should best proceed with our money, assets. and energy.

Denise Thomas is here! Filling in for Dr. Ken Harris on Truth In The Afternoon and she has a major issue with how our country's education system is being mishandled. From her child's experience in private schools as a young black man to what she's seen from our administration countrywide and MPS' failures in our backyard. DT questions the lack of dedication to cultivating positive and enriching experiences to inspire our next generation of leaders.

In hour two of Truth In The Afternoon with Denise Thomas guest hosting, she is joined in studio by DaShanda Clark of "Pathfinders" to discuss the organizations involvement in the community in relation to the youth in Milwaukee and tackling our homelessness problem head on. DaShanda and DT talk all things inclusion as well as the stigma in the black community regarding the transgender community and LGBTQ+ issues as a whole.

DT circles back to the topic of hour one and fields calls from listeners discussing their thoughts and experiences as Black Americans in schools and question why we fight so hard for something that clearly was not designed for us nor loves us back.

& Dr. Ken isn't just talking about from gun violence... What are we going to do as a community about this?

Hour 2 of Truth In The Afternoon opens up with another Top 5, as Dr. Ken Harris fills Truth Nation in on pertinent information like election day & what is at stake in Wisconsin and around our country, a concerning cancellation of food to be delivered to the Hunger Task Force being cancelled, updates on Luigi Mangione who is charged with the murder of United Healthcare C.E.O Bryan Thompson who is facing the death penalty, and a potential reboot of a beloved black show from the late 80's.

Dr. Ken then segways into a conversation on the hypocrisy of the Death Penalty and how there is no healing process or justice when another life is taken in response, along with harping on his topic in hour one of more things Black Americans need to do in relation to educating themselves and protecting their resources for the long run.
