  • 4/16/25 4PM: If You Have One
Dr. Ken opens up his show, addressing comments directed at him from listeners as of late, with Dr. Ken boldly stating he is unapologetically himself and appreciates his progression through what we call life as a black man. Speaking candidly on his humble beginnings that inspired his work ethic, he challenges the black community to avoid placing labels and barriers on the black experience, as there is more than one way to grow up and be such.
Dr. Ken also discusses the "crabs in a barrel mentality" and why he sees our world how he does to avoid letting emotions cloud his judgement and throw him off of his course. As the hour furthers Dr. Ken also touches on the Maryland father stuck in El Salvador along with the hypocrisy regarding the outrage for the young teen Karmelo Anthony in Texas charged with murder compared to Luigi Mangione, the infamous United Healthcare killer.
