Dr. Ken opens up Truth In The Afternoon with a subtle shoutout to fellow on air host Benjammin and his signature "Rabbit Hole" segment, as he recently went down his own to ask Truth Nation how life might be if historical civil rights figures like Martin Luther King & Malcolm X had not been killed along with others in favor of change in the civil rights era. Dr. Ken asks if Blacks might have been better off without DEI & Affirmative Action, along with concerning shifts in numbers regarding Black men & women and their participation in the workforce today.

Further into the hour Dr. Ken congratulates recent WBA winners from the past weekend which includes himself, Carrie "Nonii" Juice, & Tory Lowe among other GKB teammates, along with taking the time to thank the entire 101.7 The Truth team for their hard work, dedication, & thanks Truth Nation for their support and viewership. The hour ends with a conversation with a caller about what needs to change to encourage change in the workforce amongst the Black community for our progression in the future.

Dr. Ken starts the second hour of Truth In The Afternoon with his Top 5 @ 5 with stories in and around Milwaukee you need to hear about like tonight's Met Gala in New York and the controversy surrounding it and what actually goes on inside the doors, a Brown Deer woman charged with homicide in the shooting of her neighbor along with her plea and updates, a Baird scandal regarding overworked interns and much more news.

Dr. Ken also shares news of the government now offering a payment of $1,000 to illegal immigrants to self deport to their country of origin and poses the question to Truth Nation by asking if the payment is sufficient or if they would risk potential deportation for nothing at all. Denise Thomas joins halfway through the hour to share her thoughts on the news and how she would face what may become a scary choice for immigrants everywhere.

The second hour of Truth In The Afternoons with Dr. Ken Harris kicks off with a discussion on the NFL Draft and the controversy regarding the treatment of Shedeur Sanders by NFL execs & coaches along with the prank call he received in an attempt to humble his ego.
