Dr. Ken begins the second hour of Truth In The Afternoon with more well known and unknown superstitions you may not be aware of, then transitioning into his Top 5 @5 to share all the stories in and around Milwaukee you need to know which featured an upcoming supreme court hearing on a case regarding citizen birth rights, a 3 year old who was shot and rushed to a nearby hospital, along with a multi car crash that left one dead and a family devastated along with other things you might have missed.

Later into the hour, Dr. Ken unpacks more of his quirky superstitions and concerns from flying to leaving shoes on the bed and more, as well as a recent study out of Finland that started back in 2019 to switch to a 4-day work week that has yielded positive results and overall health improvements for citizens. Dr. Ken asks Truth Nation if they would enjoy such a structure & his preferences on the model.

Dr. Ken tells the story of Patricia Sias Ellis who recently made her trip across the stage at the age of 79 despite numerous obstacles in her way to ask Truth Nation what their excuse might be.

Urging Truth Nation to continue their academic studies, he also tells listeners to be wary of the language they use to describe the obstacles in their way and to express a chance for higher education as an "I get to" opposed to other negative language. Later in the hour Dr. Ken speaks on the sad story of a 5-alarm fire that has left 5 dead & hundreds homeless on 27th and highland along with details and harrowing firsthand accounts from survivors and first responders.

Dr. Ken begins the second hour of Truth In The Afternoon by breaking news of numerous deadly Indian missile strikes on locations around Pakistan & Kashmir which may be a sign of all the trouble to come & ponders just how involved the United States will be in the future. He then moves into his Top 5 @ 5, sharing updates on a Milwaukee man facing additional charges for spearheading an illegal sex ring from his home, a post office closing affecting the community, and a horrifying update on MPS schools being without hand soap for several days among other pertinent news you need to know around the area.

Further in the hour Dr. Ken speaks more on the issues with pricing for luxury apartments and zoning issues as a recent hotel vote was tabled for a project set to begin near Fiserv Forum over sizing and unions claiming the hotel as is would not be ideal for the district. Dr. Ken also shares shocking news of singer Smokey Robinson being charged with sexual battery, false imprisonment and gender violence in a new lawsuit and the scathing details surrounding the case.

Dr. Ken begins Truth In The Afternoon describing the need to actually understand the DEI decrees & executive orders being laid down by the Trump Administration & the good intent of things like DEI vs actual results and how we measure the success of programs designed to get the black community ahead. From speaking about the importance of qualifications over quotas, Dr. Ken urges Truth Nation to decide how best to provide better opportunities in our community without a handout from those already in positions of power.
